Great Pornhub Purge
The Great Pornhub Purge is a significant event in Porn Music Video history. On December 14, 2020, Pornhub announced a change in their Terms of Service banning unverified accounts from uploading videos.[1]
Last week, we enacted the most comprehensive safeguards in user-generated platform history. We banned unverified uploaders from posting new content, eliminated downloads, and partnered with dozens of non-profit organizations, among other major policy changes (please read here for more details).

PMVs and Cock Hero videos were removed from the site as a result of this change. The event was intensely discussed in the PornMusicVids subreddit and on Milovana. [3] [4]
Response
In response to the massive loss of PMVs due to the purge, the PornMusicVids subreddit[5] and the associated PornEdits Discord[6] community started a recovery effort using mega.nz for storage. This archive was later taken down by mega.
